Flower Mound is a Top Digital City

The Flower Mound Information Technology (IT) Department received yet another accolade recently when the Center for Digital Government named the Town as a Top 10 City in its 2005 Digital Cities Survey. Flower Mound was ranked fifth among cities with a population of 30,000-74,999, up two spots from last year. This is the second year the Town has participated in the survey, which assesses how city governments utilize information technology to operate and deliver quality service to their customers and citizens. The Center for Digital Government also recently honored Flower Mound with the “Most Innovation Use of Technology” Best of Texas Award for creating the Collective Communications System.
