There is good news and bad news after the winter storm that hit the area Thursday, bringing a lot of ice and a little snow.
The good news is that there were no fatalities reported from any of the large number of wrecks that occurred on slick streets, highways and bridges on Thursday and Friday.
No outages of power were reported in the immediate area, although a few were without power for a while in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
