The 2nd Annual Nick Gonzales Charity Golf Tournament will be held Friday afternoon, May 8th at Bridlewood Golf Club. All net proceeds benefit the Nick Gonzales Foundation Research Grant on Glioblastoma Brain Tumors. Nick was only 28 years old when he was diagnosed with a malignant GBM brain tumor in Nov. 2005. Though Nick had emergency surgery at UT Southwestern with Dr. Bruce Mickey, underwent radiation and chemo, the tumor returned and Nick joined our Father in Heaven Dec, 5, 2006. The 501c3 public charity was established to honor Nick, raise awareness of the early warning signs of brain tumors and critical funds for research. Registration fee for an afternoon of golf, followed by an upscale buffet dinner with prime rib station, a live and silent auction and raffle is $125. For those who do not play golf, please join us for dinner only and enjoy the live and silent auctions for $50. All fees are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
